Serzh Sargsyan today met with Phillipe Lefort, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia.

Lefort is said to have congratulated Sargsyan on his re-election as president and reemphasized Armenia’s importance to the EU.

At the same time, Lefort stressed that peace, stability and the democratic process is just as important in Armenia.
