Nairit Plant Workers Called in for Questioning
On the heels of a Hetq investigative series looking into the disappearance of millions of dollars in loans at the Nairit rubber plant, the RA Prosecutor General is now inviting factory employees in for “talks”.
Hetq was told that no criminal charges have yet been filed in the Nairit Plant matter and that workers had merely been asked to provide any information that could shed light on the issue.
Former Nairit Plant directors have already been questioned several times.
Karen Israyelyan, who served as director from 2005 to 2007, told Hetq that he had been questioned as a witness in the Numard Trading affair.
