Thousands of citizens defied the rain and winds on April 12 to gather at Liberty Square, where Raffi K. Hovannisian announced the beginning of a new stage of struggle.

“The time for collective responsibility has come,” he declared. “All political and civic forces which claim to be with the people must now come together and set a common agenda toward our ultimate victory.”

Hovannisian announced that an inaugural summit will take place on Friday, April 19, tentatively scheduled at 6pm at the Ani Hotel in Yerevan.

Political leaders, intellectuals, and concerned citizens are invited.
