On hearing about the re-nomination of Tigran Sargsyan as RA Prime Minister, Hrant Bagratyan, who formerly served in that capacity, has jotted down his thoughts on his Facebook page. Here are a few excerpts.

I just heard about the re-nomination of Prime Minister Sargsyan. Edward Sharmazanov said it was because he was able to achieve 7.2% economic growth. Let me remind readers that a man has been re-nominated during whose term in office economic growth has basically remained the same rather than growing twice in five years.

As to the claim of 7.2% growth, that is a myth and below I repeat my notes of April 12. I am ready to meet with Tigran Sargsyan and prove it. It turns out that we can expect no future changes. In 2008, they changed several people in government. I don’t understand, don’t they have anyone else? Or is it just that they deride the opposition so? But what about Armenia?
