Saro Baghdasaryan

This is the road leading from Yerevan’s Shengavit District to Masis. The road, which stretches for several kilometers, has turned into a garbage dump. The Ararat Regional Governor is busy with everything but his job. The same goes for the mayor of Masis. The police, the State Environmental Inspectorate, the heads of adjacent communities and citizens of Armenia – all have the same attitude towards the environment. Many of these same officials and citizens are amazed at the mounds of garbage that are growing daily and, of course, the mountain of Masis in the distance.
