Here are the preliminary results for yesterday’s Council of Alderman election in Yerevan according to the Central Electoral Commission

Voter turnout was 53.5%.

Out of 816,478 eligible voters, 437,212 cast ballots ( 15,250 ballots were declared invalid).

Republican Party – 235,512 (55.89%)

Prosperous Armenia Party – 97,189 (23.07%)

Barev Yerevan Alliance – 35,732 (8.48%)

Armenian National Congress Party – 18,499 (4.39%)

Armenian Revolutionary Federation – 15,999 (3.80%)

Country of Law Party – 15,733 (3.73%)

Mission Party – 2,692 (.064%)
