One Soldier Dead, Another Wounded, in Weapon Discharge Incident
The RA Defense Ministry reports that a soldier was killed and one wounded yesterday after another soldier discharged his weapon.
Conscript soldier Lyuks Stepanyan died immediately after being wounded by a shot discharged by Davit Khachatryan.
The two were serving in the same patrol unit.
Another soldier, Hrachya Vaghinyan, was rushed to a military hospital with a head wound.
The Ministry of Defense has launched a criminal investigation.
