Karen Khachaturian, the son of world-renowned composer Aram Khachaturian, visited the grave of his father at the Komitas Pantheon in Yerevan to mark the 110^th anniversary of his birth.

Karen Khachaturian was accompanied by a number of government officials, artists, musicians and aficionados of the maestro’s work.

“Aram Khachaturian was tied to Armenia. He often visited to give concerts. While I often couldn’t accompany him on every visit, I could always feel that visible and invisible connection to Armenia and its people,” recounted Karen Khachaturian.
