Vahagn Chakhalyan gas disseminated an accounting regarding the June 28 arrest of his brother Armen in the Ninotzminda village of Gondoura.

The Georgian-Armenian activist says that a unit of Georgian Special Forces took his brother and others into custody during a brawl in the village.

Vahagn Chakhalyan says that the circumstances of his brother’s arrest lead him to suspect that the entire incident was fabricated and politically motivated.  

Chakhalyan ends by expressing the hope that the instigators of this conspiracy will be revealed and their efforts will be doomed to failure.
