Government – Opposition Dialogue Scheduled to Start
The long awaited dialogue between delegations from the government and opposition HAK will finally take place in the coming ten days.
The government delegation will consist of two members each from the three parties making up the governing coalition (Republican Party, Rule of Law and Prosperous Armenia).
Heghineh Bisharyan, Deputy President of the Rule of Law Party, a member of the delegation, told reporters that while a definite agenda of issues has yet to be worked out, the agenda will include "vital matters" facing Armenia.
Gagik Minasyan, a delegation member from the majority ruling Republican Party, stated that HAK's call for snap elections was baseless and that, "In any event, our team has no jurisdiction to discuss the issue."
