Visiting Armenian Foreign Minister and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi held talks on Thursday in Beijing, Xinhua reports.

FM Wang stated that the Chinese government attaches importance to developing ties with Armenia, adding that China will work with Armenia to deepen cooperation, strengthen coordination on international and regional issues and advance bilateral relations to a higher level.

The most significant feature of China-Armenia relations is that the two sides have “mutual respect and support for each other,” FM Wang said.

Nalbandian struck a positive note regarding the on-going development of Armenia-China relations and said Armenia is willing to work with China to boost bilateral ties.
