Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan today appointed Narek Sargsyan to head the newly formed State Committee of Architecture.

Narek Sargsyan had been serving as Yerevan’s Chief Architect, often being criticized for allowing the demolition of the few remaining historic neighbourhoods in the Armenian capital in favour of elite residential buildings.
