Defense Ministry: Armenian Soldier "Lost His Bearings"; We Won't Prosecute

The Armenian Ministry of Defense says it will not criminally prosecute Hakob Injighulyan, an Armenian soldier, who recently wound up in Azerbaijani controlled territory.

“Preliminary investigation findings have not established corpus delicti in Hakob Injighulyan’s actions. It was justified and proved that Injighulyan appeared on the territory under the protection of the Azerbaijani forces under exceptional circumstances as the result of losing his bearings. Thus, he will not be subject to criminal prosecution upon his repatriation”, wrote Artsrun Hovhannisyan, press secretary of the Minsitry of Defence of Armenia in his FaceBook account

some questions remain unanswered and are reason to be worry> I am convinced that the soldier lost his way and find himself in enemies side- and this is the problem - HOW!?. 1- How comes that solders in duty didn't notice this? 2-How comes that it is possible to cross so easily the border and go to other side without being trapped by mines or other warn signals? 3- If it is so easy to cross to the other side this is alarming because in the same way could enemy commodes approach the our solder posts and kill them-- I would say the DM in Stepanakert and Yerevan should deal with this issue and respective officials and bodies should be held accountable and implement plans to protect the life of our solders!
