The Armenian Bar Association is pleased to announce its upcoming second “20 Rising Stars Awards” recognizing 20 Armenian legal professionals who either are 40 years old or younger, or have been practicing law 10 years or less, and have distinguished themselves in their area of practice.

These professionals may include practicing lawyers, law professors, and members of the judiciary.  The 20 Armenian legal professionals selected will be recognized at a dinner event in Los Angeles, California, on Friday, December 6, 2013.  More details about the event will follow.

Nominees must be attorneys of Armenian heritage admitted to practice in the jurisdiction(s) in which they work, born on January 1, 1973 or later, or have been  practicing law since January 1, 2003 or thereafter.  These legal professionals are individuals who have begun to establish themselves in their respective legal practices, whether in the private, non-profit, or government sector, in the judiciary, or in academia.  They must have a proven track record of career success, are involved in promoting their profession, and make time to give back to their communities.
