Sargsyan Meets With Lukashenko in Sochi
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, on a working visit to Sochi to attend a session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, met with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko.
In addition to discussing matters dealing with bilateral relations, the two spoke of the prospects of greater economic collaboration given Sargsyan’s recent statement that Armenia would join the Russian-led Customs Union.
Belarus is already a member of the Customs Union, along with Kazakhstan and Russia.
