An interim report on the underground water resources of the Ararat Valley was presented today at Yerevan’s Marriott Hotel.

The report, financed by the USAID, was welcomed by Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan, who stated that it was vital to obtain a correct assessment of the water resources for the valley, an important area for local agriculture and manufacturing.

The final report, including conclusions and suggestions, will be ready by early 2014.
