Armenia's 1st Vegan Fest Tomorrow in Mashots Park

Armenia’s first “Vegan Fest” will take place tomorrow at 1pm in Yerevan’s Mashtots Park.

Touting the slogan ‘Choose Life’, the festival seeks to disseminate the ideal of a healthy lifestyle through vegetarianism in addition to highlighting cruelty to animals.

Vegetarian dishes will be available for sampling, as well as lectures on the benefits of eating healthy.

Invited musicians will provide an entertaining backdrop to the fair that will also include slackline and yoga competitions.

The public is encouraged to bring samples of vegetarian dishes to the fair where a contest for the tastiest will be held.

So come one and all.

Հարգելի Հրանտ և Անի, շատ ողջունելի է ձեր գեղեցիկ նախաձեռնությունը, ես մեծ հույսեր եմ փայփայում որ մեր երկրում բուսակերությունը և առողջ ապրելակերպը մի օր մեծ թափ կստանա ձեր և ձեր նման մտածողների և համարձակ նախաձեռնողների շնորհիվ: 35 տարուց ավել բուսակեր լինելով ես վստահ եմ, որ ճիշտ ճանապարհի վրաեմ և սրտանց ուրախացա այս համարձակ նախաձեռնության մասին կարդալով: Անպայման կմասնակցեմ ձեր միջոցառմանը և տեղում ուշադրությամբ կհետևեմ մեր համաքաղաքացիների ռեակցիային, որոնցից շատերը մտածում են որ առանց մսեղենի կյանքն անիմաստ է: Վաղուց ցանկություն եմ ունեցել և երազել մեր քաղաքում տեսնել հատուկ բուսակերների համար նախատեսված մի որևե սննդի օբիեկտ որը ցավոք սրտի մինչ այսօր դեռ չի իրականացել: Ուրախությամբ եմ հիշում խորհրդային ժամանակների “ԲՈՒՍԱԿԵՐ” ը Բարեկամության մետրոյի հարևանությամբ որը ցավոք սրտի վաղուց արդեն անցել է պատմության գիրկը: Առիթից օգտվելով կուզենայի մեր սիրելի ընթերցողների ուշադրությունը հրավիրել հարյուրավոր հիմնավոր պատճառներից ընդամենը մեկի վրա հանուն որի իմ կարծիքով արժի անցնել բուսակերության: Շնորհակալություն կրկին անգամ այս ՄԵԾ ԵՎ ԱՆՉԱՓ ԿԱՐԵՎՈՐ նախաձեռնության համար: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZs1vodBxP0
