Two Classical Music Concerts Featuring Russian National Philharmonic Orchestra and Vladimir Spivakov

The Russian National Philharmonic Orchestra will perform two concerts in Armenia on November 10 and 11 as part of the international festival marking the 110th anniversary of Aram Khachaturian.

At the baton will be Vladimir Spitakov, the Orchestra’s principal conductor and artistic director.

The November 10 concert, at Yerevan’s Opera House, will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Armenian Chamber Orchestra founder and prominent violinist, conductor Zareh Sahakyan.

 The November 11 concert, in Gyumri, is part of the Gyumri 2013 CIS Cultural Capital series.

Featured soloists will include Aleksander Romanovsky (pianist; Italy), Vasily Latyuk (baritone. Russia), Juliet Galstyan (mezzo soprano; Switzerland), and Hasmik Papyan (soprano, Armenia).
