A lone wolf roaming through a Yerevan neighborhood was shot last night by employees of a company that usually deals with stray dogs.

Unigraf X, the company that catches and neuters stray dogs in Yerevan, dispatched a team to the Silikyan neighborhood of the Armenian capital after receiving reports of a pack of wild animals terrorizing the area.

It turned out to be a wolf, estimated to be around one year old.

The question remains; will it be the last one deciding to give up a harsh life in the wild for the creature comforts of Yerevan?
