
Remains of WWII Soldier Identified
Armenian police report that the remains of a WWII soldier inadvertently dug up near the Ukrainian village of Klevetsk have been tentatively identified as Sergey Aghasyan.
Aghasyan, residing in Armenia at the time, was conscripted into the Soviet Army in 1944 and participated in the battle for Klevetsk.
The police are requesting that Aghasyan’s relatives or those with further information about him call 56-48-21.
