Armenia's Central Bank Registers Three Companies to Manage Pension Funds

Armenia’s Central Banks has already registered three companies as managers of the pension fund system set to go into effect as of January 1, 2014.

The three are Amundi Acba Asset Management, C-Quadrat Ampega Asset Management Armenia, and Capital Asset Management.

The first , Amundi Acba Asset Management, is 51% owned by Amundi Asset Management   and 49% by Acba-Credit Agricole Bank. The Central Bank registered this entity on November 19.

C-Quadrant Ampega Asset Management, registered on November 29, is 74.9% owned by C-Quadrat, and 25.1% by Talanx Asset Management.

Capital Asset Management was the first registered fund manager in RA for investment and pension funds, receiving a license in October, 2012. 

The company is wholly owned by “Capital Investments” CJSC.
