Armenian Economy Minister to Sign Gazprom Deal

The Armenian government today gave the go-ahead for Econmy and Natiral Respources Minister Armen Movsisyan to sign a contract with Gazprom, the giant Russian natural gas conglomerate.

The contract sells over the remaining 20% shares held by Armenia in "ArmRosgazprom" to Gazprom and consigns the Russian company as the sole natural gas supplier of Armenia  until 2043.
