Armenian Defense Minister Leads Students in Minute of Silence for Fallen Soldier
During a visit to a local Yerevan school, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan led students in a minute of silence for the Armen Hovhannisyan, the Armenian soldier killed yesterday while repelling an attempted Azerbaijani military incursion into Artsakh.
Minister Ohanyan, accompanied by Idea charitable organization benefactor Rouben Vardanyan, visited Yerevan’s John Kirakosyan No. 20 school, inspecting the facility’s virtual rifelry, military gymnastics, and game rooms, constructed with the assistance of the Ministry of Defense.
“An ordinary unit of nine soldiers, at their position, repelled two special Azerbaijani units of thirty,” Ohanyan told the pupils. “Isn’t this heroism?”
