Armenian Soldier's Memory Honored in Artsakh

 

While Junior Sergeant Armen Hovhannisyan was being buried in the Republic of Armenia, a requiem for him was held in Sourb Hakobos (St. James) Church in Artsakh, for his soul to rest in peace.
Present at the church ceremony were Mountainous Karabakh Republic (MKR) President Bako Sahakyan, the parliamentary speaker, almost all of the heads of the republic's state agencies, and a few thousand citizens.

The junior sergeant with the MKR Defense Army, according to official reports, died on Jan. 19 while preventing an incursion by Azerbaijani military units.
