Armenian Universities to Collaborate with International Visegrad Fund

Armenia’s Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan has met with Lenka Bučková, Program Manager of the International Visegrad Fund’s “Visegrad 4 Eastern Partnership Program” (V4EaP).

The program was set up in 2011 to enhance cooperation between the Visegrad region and the countries of the Eastern Partnership in the areas of social and economic transformation, democratization and regional cooperation particularly through the development of civil society and support of cooperation among local governments, universities and individual citizens.

The parties discussed greater cooperation between the Fund and institutions of higher learning in Armenia and the possibility of jointly drafting educational programs.

In this context, Minister Ashotyan has organized meetings between Fund representatives and administrators of Armenian colleges and universities.
