One of the last remaining open spaces surrounding the Opera House in Yerevan seems to have been taken over by a series of canopy stalls intended for commercial purposes.

The warning was sounded by a civic group called “We are the masters of our city”.

To find out who has erected the stalls, Hetq contacted the public affairs office of the Yerevan Municipality.

The office responded that they had just found out about the issue and would get back to us after investigating the matter.
