On November 25th, in Los Angeles, NKR President Bako Sahakyan met with businessman Robert Oglakhachyan who is the Executive Director of the Armenian-Russian TV Network. According to the Press Service of the NKR's Office of the President, during the meeting issues dealing with Artsakh-Diaspora cooperation in the information sector were discussed. President Sahakyan, emphasizing the strategic importance of this sector, stressed the urgency to deepen such cooperation. On the same day President Sahakyan met with American-Armenian benefactors Harry and Aida Shakarian and they discussed long-term development projects intended for the MKR (Mountainous Karabakh Republic). Later that same day, President Sahakyan met with the Primate of the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Church of America and assembled Armenian community representatives. The MKR President gave a brief overview of the socio-economic situation of his nation and the Karabakh conflict settlement process. The last meeting on the President's agenda for the day was with Mr. Harout Sassounian, Vice President of the Lincy Foundation and President of the United Armenian Fund.
