Today, the Central Investigative Division of Armenia’s Police Department initiated criminal proceedings surrounding yesterday’s assault on “Hetq” Chief Editor Edik Baghdasaryan, on the grounds that, ‘a group of individuals or an organized group deliberately inflicted moderate injury to his health’. The Police Department’s Press Office states, “Steps are being taken to clarify the circumstances of the incident and to reveal the identities of those responsible.”
