Yesterday, after being summoned to Armenia’s National Security Service for questioning, Sarkis Hatspanyan, a citizen of France, was placed under arrest. Publication of information in the newspaper Haykakan Zhamanak, alleging a murder plot targeting Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, have led to Hatspanyan being accused of violation of Article 333 ( perfidy) of Armenia’s Criminal Code.
