Open Letter to Charles Aznavour

4 January 2009

Dear Mr. Aznavour,

We wish you a Happy New Year and a Merry Christmas, and to Armenia peace and prosperity. Furthermore, we express our joy about the news that you are granted citizenship of Armenia.

On this occasion we draw your attention to the matter of political prisoners in Armenia, which is a deplorableviolation of human rights, and is being used as a pretext by foreign governments to exert pressure on Armenia.

For the sake of respecting human rights and to forestall further detrimental intrusions by foreign powers, we approach you with the request of intervening with the Armenian authorities to release the political prisoners.

Respectfully,

Dear Mr. Sarkisjan The meeting between Mr. Sarkisyan and Mr. Pashinyan once again proved that Mr. Sarkisan has not enough capability to be as a privileged leader for the Armenian people. Mr. Sarkisyan has to leave his post/power as soon as possible. To try to intimidate Armenian people means that Mr. Sarkisyan is in an agony and in a stressful mental state to see that Armenian people has a power to demand his resignation. Mr. Sarkisyan if one of the Armenian citizens suffers from the actions of the power enforcement of governmental forces then you / Mr. Sarkisyan will be guilty and will be responsible to the all-Armenian people with all responsibilities. The world is watching to Mr. Sarkisyan’s actions now and the people of Armenia is weighting to Mr. Sarkisyan's immediate resignation, now, as a politically shrewd leader. Sincerely yours, Armenian Safety Advice
