Piece of Noah's Ark Gifted to Catholicos Aram I

The Holy See of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Cilicia reports that Catholicos Aram I was recently presented with a piece of Noah’s Ark.

The press release says that the artifact was gifted to Catholicos Aram I by Italian explorer Tito de Luca who scaled Mt. Ararat one year ago.  It will be placed in the Holy See’s museum.

It does not look like a piece from the Ark at all. Its more a simple piece of a log.... personally think that just because Echmiadzin has a piece, Cilicia wants to be with equal power. Its a part of the sad competition between these two leadership centers. Would be glad if it were true though.
