Armenian Climbers to Scale Mt. Kazbek

A team of six from Armenia's Alpinism Federation is off to Georgia to scale the heights of Mt. Kazbek which stands at 5,033 meters above sea level.

Last month, Armenian mountain climbers successfully scaled Mt. Demavend in Iran. While Demavend is the highest peak in Iran at 5,671 meters, climbers say that the ascent up Kazbek is more difficult.
