Based on Hetq coverage regarding continuing illegal tree felling in the Lorout forest management district (Illegal Logging Continues in Armenia's "Unprotected" Forests), the Ministry of Nature Protection has stated that an investigative team has been organized at the directive of Minister Aram Harutyunyan.

The Ministry states that the team has been in the area of the reported illegal felling for the past two days and that details of their findings will be made public upon their return.
