CEC Rejects HAK Petition to Invalidate Election

By a vote of six to two, Armenia's Central Electoral Commission rejected HAK's petition to have the May 31 Yerevan municipal election nullified. HAK had petitioned the CEC yesterday, claiming widespread voting violations. Zoya Tadevosyan (Heritage Party) and Hamlet Abrahamyan (ARF) were the two dissenting votes.
