Intrepid photo-journalist Gagik Shamshyan travelled to the front lines of Karabakh with a group of reporters to cover the daily life of soldiers in the trenches. Officers paid special "care" to Mr. Shamshyan. One officer even placed a helmet on his head before entering the trenches.
