Probably the most controversial vote count was registered at the 10/19 polling station where Ara Simonyan received 405 votes to Nikol Pashinyan’s 176. Marxist Party candidate Davit Hakobyan finished with 6 votes. Vladimir Karapetyan, Hakobyan’s proxy at the polling station, told "Hetq" that the party would contest the vote tally given that numerous voting violations took place at the ballot box.
