At a reception held today, the newspaper "Iravunk" bestowed Gagik Tsarukyan with the "Outstanding Politician" award for 2009. The paper claims that Tsarukyan, a leading businessman in Armenia and head of the Prosperous Armenian Party, has distinguished himself for his activities in the fields of government and public service. PAP spokesperson Khachik Galstyan received the award on behalf of Mr. Tsarukyan.
