A loyal Hetq reader called up the office to report that yesterday evening he witnessed someone cut down a healthy poplar tree recently planted in the garden named after Yuri Bakhshyan, located in the vicinity of Arno Babajanyan Street. Our reader also sent the photos seen here. An official from the Ministry of Nature Protection has also called Hetq to say they are aware of the apparent violation and are sending inspectors to the scene.
