Turkish University Desperately Seeks Armenian Language Instructor

This year, an Armenian language department was launched in the ErciyesUniversity, located in Kayseri,Turkey.

The classes were designed for all those wishing to learn Armenian.

But it seems that the school has yet to find a suitable instructor for the Armenian language course financed byTurkey’s Ministry of Education and Science.

The job pays $2,400 per month for instructors and $3,500 for a professor.

Aris Nalji, an Istanbul Armenian manager with the IMC TV station, told Hetq that government financing would dry up if an instructor wasn’t found soon.
