Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan, Members of Parliament, other government officials and businessmen were all present at the official opening of a new fruit processing unit belonging to the Artfood Cannery in Artashat. The Prime Minister and Speaker toured the cannery and saw the technical equipment and range of products that the company offered. The head of the government greeted those who were present and said, “The opening of this unit will create new opportunities and will significantly increase the volume of products procured from the agricultural sector.  This will, naturally, boost the development of the agricultural sector.  I am glad that the operative unit of the government - which was discussing this project and the situation in the company during the economic crisis – chose the right strategy, which then gained the approval of the President, the Speaker and the government.  I am sure that the average Armenian consumer will appreciate the investments made here.”
