Today, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a delegation from Kuwait headed by Minister of Finance Mustafa Jassim al-Shamali. The Prime Minister greeted the delegation and said, “We consider the strengthening of our relations with Kuwait to be very important. We have travelled a promising path together. I am sure that your visit will give new momentum to the deepening of relations between our two countries.” During the meeting, the two sides discussed the prospects of a number of mutually beneficial investment opportunities and exchanged ideas specifically on the areas of mining and tourism. They spoke about the need to establish the business ties between the air travel sectors of the two countries. At the end of the meeting, the Armenian Minister of Finance Tigran Davtyan and his Kuwaiti counterpart Mustafa Jassim al-Shamali signed an agreement on the promotion of investment and protection of mutual interests, which seeks to boost business ties and economic cooperation between the two countries.
