RoA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan visited the Armenian peacekeeping contingent stationed at the Kunduz airport in Afghanistan. The Armenian troops have been tasked with safeguarding the airport. Archbishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, accompanying DM Ohanyan, blessed a small chapel, named Saint Tadevos that the Armenian troops have erected in the vicinity. The delegation has also met with U.S. Army General David Petraeus, who serves as the current Commander of the International Security Force (ISAF) and Commander of the U.S. Forces Afghanistan.
