On Thursday, November 25, there will be a public march to protest the brutal beating and death of 20 year-old Zaruhi Petrosyan at the hands of her husband and mother-in-law. Tomorrow marks the "International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women". The march, organized by seven Armenian civic groups, will start at the Cascade at 3:30pm and wind its way down to Republic Square. Along the route, signatures will be collected for a petition seeking a just verdict in the case. Donations will also be accepted for the murdered woman’s child. All are invited to attend.
