Tigran Karapetyan, leader of Armenia’s People’s Party, will stage a rally at 4pm on Friday, January 7, at the steps leading to the Matenadaran Book Depository in Yerevan. The rally is billed as a popular protest against injustice and arbitrary rule of law in Armenia. Mr. Karapetyan’s ALM TV station was recently denied a broadcasting license by the State TV and Radio Commission.
