Tigran Karapetyan, President of the People’s Party of Armenia, said he fully supports Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovannisian’s decision to begin an open ended "freedom fast" in Opera Square. Mr. Karapetyan criticized the current regime for allowing the state of the nation to reach such critical proportions and motivating political figures like Hovannisian to take such drastic steps as a sign of protest.
