Armenia Appoints New Permanent Rep to the United Nationa

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has appointed Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanian as the country's new Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the United Nations.

Mnatsakanian thus replaces Garen Nazarian who served at the post since 2009.
