On the eve of the 99th anniversary of the 1915 Armenian Genocide, throngs of people carrying lit torches made their way on foot from the center of Yerevan to the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex on a hill overlooking the Armenian capital to honor the 1.5 million innocent victims of the Medz Yegheren.
