Non-Coalition Quartet to Meet Tomorrow; Possible Discussion of Government's Program
Armenia’s four non-coalition parliamentary factions (Armenian National Congress, ARF, Heritage and Prosperous Armenia) will once again convene a meeting behind closed doors tomorrow to discuss a yet unspecified agenda.
This news was conveyed to Hetq by ARF faction secretary Aghvan Vardanyan, who added that the meeting’s agenda would be set on the spot according to issues raised by the parties.
When asked, Vardanyan didn’t rule out the possibility that the non-coalition ‘quartet’ would strike a joint stance regarding the future program of the country’s new government before parliamentary debate on the issue scheduled for May 19.
