Man Who Opened Fire on Vardanants St. in Yerevan Arrested
The man responsible for a shooting on Saturday near Yerevan's "Vernissage" outdoor market turned himself into the police.
Note, the shooting resulted in 5 wounded, who were taken to hospital.
The Police of the Republic of Armenia report [AM] that as a result of search and investigative work carried out jointly by employees of the Yerevan City Department and the Central Investigation Department of the Armenian Police, it was discovered that the crime was committed by Gor A., 29, who arrived on May 18 at the Yerevan police division and surrendered to the Central Investigation Department.
Gor A. presented a Makarov pistol without a factory number and with one unused cartridge.
Gor A. is arrested. An investigation is underway.
