Artsakh Prime Minister Ara Haroutyunyan yesterday toured hail storm damaged areas of the country and promised residents that his government would provide financial assistance.

Representatives of the Djrakous and Kyuratagh communities told Haroutyunyan that 1,000 hectares of pasture land and gardens had been damaged to due to recent hailstorms.

Haroutyunyan said the government would free residents who have suffered substantial losses from paying land taxes and rents, and that it would assist with the fall plating.

The prime minister added that agricultural loans at favorable rates would also be made available.
